Weather Telemetry
The Weather Telemetry panel displays environmental sensor readings from the DJI Dock 2’s onboard weather station. These readings are used to determine whether conditions are safe for deployment.
Overview
DJI Dock 2 includes a built-in weather station that reports environmental conditions at the dock location in real time. The dashboard surfaces these readings so operators can make informed decisions about flight deployment without relying on third-party weather services.
This panel is visible when a DJI Dock 2 is selected and online.
Sensor Readings
| Sensor | Unit | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Temperature | °C / °F | Ambient air temperature at the dock |
| Wind Speed | m/s or km/h | Current wind speed at dock height |
| Wind Direction | Degrees | Wind bearing relative to north |
| Humidity | % | Relative humidity |
| Rainfall | Binary / mm | Rain detected; some models report accumulation |

Weather Thresholds
Configurable thresholds determine when the dock system automatically halts deployment:
| Parameter | Default Threshold | Configurable |
|---|---|---|
| Max wind speed | 12 m/s | Yes |
| Min temperature | -20°C | Yes |
| Max temperature | 45°C | Yes |
| Rain detection | Any rain | Yes |
Thresholds are set in Settings > Dock > Weather Limits.
Weather Hold
When sensor readings exceed a configured threshold, the dock enters a Weather Hold state and will not deploy the aircraft. The dashboard displays a banner indicating which threshold triggered the hold.
