Drone Settings
The Drone tab controls aircraft-level parameters including flight limits, obstacle avoidance, and battery warning thresholds. Settings are saved per device.

Flight Limits
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Max Altitude | Maximum altitude the aircraft may climb to (metres above take-off point) |
| Max Speed | Maximum horizontal flight speed (m/s) |
| RTH Altitude | Altitude the aircraft climbs to before beginning a Return-to-Home manoeuvre |
Obstacle Avoidance
Three avoidance axes can be toggled independently:
| Axis | Toggle |
|---|---|
| Horizontal | Avoid obstacles to the sides |
| Upward | Avoid obstacles above |
| Downward | Avoid obstacles below |
The avoidance action mode is selected from a three-option tab:
| Mode | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| BRAKE | Stop and hover when obstacle detected |
| AVOID | Navigate around detected obstacles |
| OFF | Disable obstacle avoidance entirely |
Disabling obstacle avoidance (OFF mode) should only be used by experienced operators in controlled environments.
Battery Thresholds
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Low Battery Warning Threshold | Battery percentage at which the low-battery warning triggers |
| Critical (Serious Low) Battery Threshold | Battery percentage at which the aircraft initiates an emergency landing |
Critical threshold must be lower than Low threshold. The UI enforces this automatically and will correct invalid values after a short delay.
DJI Dock 3
When a DJI Dock 3 is selected some parameters are read-only because the hardware manages them centrally.
