Points of Interest

Points of Interest (POIs) are named map markers that represent significant locations relevant to your operations — landing zones, inspection targets, infrastructure assets, or hazard markers.

Overview

POIs are displayed as labelled pins on the map. They persist across sessions and can be shared with team members. POIs can also be referenced as waypoints or orbit targets during mission planning.

Creating a POI

  1. Right-click a location on the map, or select Add POI from the map toolbar.
  2. Enter a name and optional description.
  3. Select a category or colour if supported.
  4. Click Save.

The POI pin appears immediately on the map.

Using POIs in Mission Planning

When adding waypoints in the Mission Planning tool, you can snap to an existing POI by name. The POI coordinates are copied to the waypoint, and the POI name is used as the waypoint label.
