Failsafe Actions

The Failsafes tab defines the automatic protective action the aircraft takes when a triggering condition is detected. Each trigger has its own independent action picker.

Failsafes settings tab

Triggers

Network — Signal Loss

Activated when the telemetry link between the dashboard and the aircraft drops.

Activated when the RC controller connection is lost.

Battery — Low Battery

Activated when the battery percentage falls to the low-battery threshold set in the Drone tab.

Available Actions

Each trigger can be set to one of the following:

Action Behaviour
Hover Aircraft stops and hovers in place until battery forces a landing
Landing Aircraft descends and lands immediately at its current position
Go to SafeLocation Aircraft navigates to the configured Safe Location before landing
Go To Dock Aircraft returns to the docking station
Warning Triggers an alert only; no automatic flight action

DJI Dock 3

Signal Loss Action is disabled when a DJI Dock 3 is selected because that hardware manages signal-loss behaviour internally. The field is visually greyed out and cannot be changed from the dashboard.

Always verify your failsafe settings before deploying in a new location. If your Safe Location has not been configured, selecting “Go to SafeLocation” will cause unexpected behaviour.
